The story of acquiring my Leica M5 is an interesting one.

This camera is known as the black sheep, or ugly duckling, of the Leica line. It is, in comparison, bulky, hefty and does not have the renown Leica red dot anywhere on its body. For the latter, I am grateful for it. I did not get this camera for others to notice it. I picked it up to take a good, quality and sharp photos.
