Reverting

Not much after my 2026 Q2 check-in, I have failed one of my goals. I have acquired new gear. It was one of my goals to not buy anything this year if I didn’t need it, and I didn’t need a new camera, but I purchased one anyway. Why then?

This camera is compact; it is stealth, but most important of all it provides the look that I like. I have had a later iteration of this model and I got rid of it because the lens was too sharp for me; too clinical that I didn’t like the results. However this earlier iteration may just provide what I want.

I will admit it that it was more than I wished to pay for it, but it is so rare to find a camera this old with so little shutter clicks/actuations so I went for it. Also, I needed a few more things for the “kit” so there’s that.
