Yes it is true. I came around full circle to Ricoh, and went back a series. My second digital camera was the Ricoh GR III Street Edition for its renown Street Photography properties. I ditched it because the look was too clinical for me. Everything was sharp even at f/2.8. You’d think his would be desired, but it wasn’t for me. What I wish I had done in retrospect was play around with the camera settings to bypass that, or make adjustments in post. I can say that I was not mature enough to understand that as a possibility.

The Ricoh GR II and GR are still very capable. I wanted another pocketable camera that offers personalization, which my Pentax WG-8 lacks. The want was a result of a SOOC challenge. Here is a list of items in the kit I own:
